347 volts is the line-to-neutral voltage of the 600V three-phase service that feeds most Canadian commercial and industrial buildings, which is why a fixture specified for a warehouse in Ontario is so often a 347V fixture and so rarely stocked by a supplier set up for residential work. Ordering a 120V fixture for a 347V circuit means either a transformer that was not in the budget or a return, and both cost a day on site.
