0-10V is the dimming standard for commercial LED. It runs a low-voltage control pair alongside the line voltage, and the driver reads the DC level on that pair to set output: ten volts is full, one volt is minimum, and most drivers hold a floor around ten percent rather than going dark. Because the control is separate from the power, it dims cleanly across long runs and large loads, which is where a phase-cut dimmer designed for a residential circuit starts to flicker and buzz.

The practical consequence on site is that a 0-10V fixture needs the purple and grey control conductors pulled to it, and a 0-10V compatible dimmer or controller at the other end. That is a wiring decision, not a fixture decision, so it has to be made before the ceiling closes.
