Test equipment

Auto-ranging digital multimeters to 600 V AC/DC, non-contact voltage testers from 70 V to 1000 V, and a non-contact infrared thermometer reading to 1500 °F for checking terminations and panel heat under load. A non-contact tester is the one item worth having two of — it is the tool most often left on a job, and the one you least want to be without when proving a circuit dead.

Cutting, stripping and crimping
