This -C5 Al Series Single Decorator LED Dimmer - Black/White/Ivory from Eaton is intended for rough-in and device replacement.

A selector sets the output to 600W and 300W. ELV dimming is supported. The finish is black.

A dimmer has to match the load's dimming type: pairing a trailing-edge control with a driver expecting 0-10V gives flicker and a limited range, not a fault. Check the dimmer's minimum load as well as its maximum — a single LED fixture on a dimmer rated for incandescent loads often will not hold a low level.
